A Todo el Mundo

we spent a nice afternoon in Swansea. Everyone here is so freakin friendly. We couldn't figure out how to get to the hotel from the train station, so this guy offered to take us. haha maybe that sounds a little scandolous, but truly, he was just being a nice "small town" type guy.

our hotel is bloody brilliant. with a fancy tv/dvd player, tea, coffee, a nice bathroom. its great. the owners are really great, and had a lot of advice to give.

we walked down to the university campus. its really amazing, because its sandwiched between a huge park and the ocean. it can't get much better than that. we sat on the beach for a bit and then headed out for supper. we had some sweet vietnamese food (as you must do in Wales). A guy sitting at the table beside us even offered us some wine. lovely people

we were so exhausted, that we ended up just crashing in the room and watching some sweet British sitcoms. they were... interesting.

It was pretty strange being in a place where Kristy might end up living. It is so different from Edmonton, and so different from Latin America (haha) that its pretty shocking. But, its also an amazing city.
